Young people are working with Raleigh Tanzania in the following ways:
National Youth Programmes (NYP)
National Youth Programmes work with and target young Tanzanians. They empower local young people with the skills and confidence to deliver projects that contribute to the Global Goals.
Expedition offers young people the chance to work in international teams to build skills, lead community projects and get out of our comfort zone. Expedition consists of three phases: water and sanitation, natural resource management and a youth leadership challenge trek.
International Citizen Service (ICS)
ICS brings together diverse young people from the Tanzania and the UK to work together on projects that support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Government of Tanzania’s Five-Year Development Plan II (FYDPII). It is funded by the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DfID).
